In January of 2014 there were 299 homes, condos and townhomes that closed within the month for Boca Raton Real Estate. In the corresponding month in 2013, there were 360homes, condominiums and townhomes that closed in January 2013. As you can see, there was a significant reduction in the number of properties that closed year over year.
The average list price for properties that closed in January 2013 was $316,574.
The average list price for properties that closed in January 2014 was $364,286.
The average sale price for properties that closed in January 2013 was $291,599.
The average sale price for properties that closed in January 2014 was $338,584.
The average days on market (or marketing time) for properties that closed in January 2013 was 139 days.
The average days on market (or marketing time) for properties that closed in January 2014 was 99 days.
As you can discern from the above data, even though the number of closed homes in Boca Raton has declined year over year, average list prices and average sales prices have both increased significantly, while the average number of days on market for Boca Raton FL homes has declined measurably.

For the period January 1st 2010 through December 31st, 2010 the average list price was $359,481 and the average days on market (or marketing time) was 179 days.
