Books: Loom Magic! 25 Never-Before-Seen Designs for an Amazing Rainbow of Projects

Thank goodness for the loom craze! Making rubber band bracelets have kept my kids busy for hours.

The new book - Loom Magic! 25 Never-Before-Seen Designs for an Amazing Rainbow of Projects (Sky Pony Press, December 2013) includes twenty-five new rubber band loom projects created by John McCann and Becky Thomas.

I gave it to my 8-year-old who was really excited to learn some new designs. When he browsed through it he realized he needs to  have the Rainbow Loom to so some of the projects. Perhaps it’s because the Rainbow Loom is featured in the instructions even though the book does not endorse the project. My kid adamantly told me, “You need to get the Rainbow Loom so I can do all the projects.”

So today – we finally got him that so he can start experimenting the following projects included in the book:

Cell phone Case
Watch band Octo bracelet
Sports fan keychain
Matching barrettes
Pencil topper
Snowman ornament

It’s going to take awhile to see if he will get to the above. But hey – it keeps him interested and creative!
