The former Howard Johnson’s hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach came down quickly Wednesday.
The demolition took just 15 minutes.
In the hotel's place will be a luxury condo project, the Paramount Fort Lauderdale Beach. Developers Art Falcone, Nitin Motwani and Daniel Kodsi expect the condos to open in early 2016, with prices starting at $1 million.
