Does LiquidWeb Hosting Provide Free cPanel Shared Hosting Site Migration?

Will LiquidWeb Move
Your Site For You?

Recently, I’ve spoken very highly about the quality of hosting from LiquidWeb.  LiquidWeb,  A2 and Site5 are three of our current favorite hosts in the shared hosting SMB space.
I began investigating these alternatives, and moving my own stuff, after the hosting options owned by Endurance Group (EIG) began to falter and fail us. This includes companies like HostGator and other now EIG owned companies such as BlueHost and HostMonster, that I can no longer recommend or support.
One of the questions I have gotten often is whether or not they will migrate a shared hosting cPanel site for free as part of their hosting packages.
“Will LiquidWeb move my site for me?”
“Will LiquidWeb take care of the transfer of my Baby Plan from HostGator?”
“I just have regular cPanel, will LW migrate the site for me?”
So I decided to take the question up with their live chat team and here’s the answer I received.

According to some forum posts I found, this also applies to VPS sites which (by their nature) do not have root access.
This should help you make a more informed decision when weighing the pros and cons of hosting with LiquidWeb or A2 or another provider.
Generally hosting companies are at their peak for about 2 years, and you should easily get 2 years out of either LiquidWeb or A2. Unlike EIG owned companies which are now WAY past being tolerable.
It’s certainly not an impossible fee but it is one  you need to know about ahead of time before you jump in with a new hosting company.
