This infographic was posted on Active Rain, one of the largest real estate networks. It shows the top 6 home seller mistakes from surveying 1000 agents. I could not agree more with the conclusion. Earlier this week a wrote a real estate article, Show your Home to Sell It! Showing availability came in as the number 2 mistake home sellers will make when selling there home.
Discuss a definitive plan with your real estate agent about how the scheduling process will go. Try and make you home available as much as possible. There are two areas to look at. Is your agent hindering showings or are you the seller hindering showings?
Of course the number one home seller mistake is overpricing your home. This could not be more true. Overpricing your home by even as little as 5% can kill your home sale.
