Located in Guimarães, Portugal, the L23 House, designed by Pitágoras Arquitectos, is a single family home with a beautiful dark facade made up of pigmented concrete. On one side of the home, there are substantial overhangs that provide covered outdoor spaces on the ground and first floors.
A large grassy courtyard rests in between the volumes of the home giving the homeowners plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.
A long, covered patio connects the volumes and provides a spot to enjoy the views.
The interior opens up to the central courtyard with floor-to-ceiling windows, making each room feel as if it’s outdoors.
The corner kitchen opens up onto the deck making it easy to enjoy your breakfast outside.
A hallway is located on the exterior wall that leads to the open public rooms, like the living room.
Who needs to go outside though when you have an indoor pool to swim in?
