Background information:
Warner Bros. has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity on “There’s No Place Like Home,” a national campaign celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the classic film, The Wizard of Oz. The campaign combines fundraising and volunteer efforts to support Habitat’s vision of a world where every family has a decent, safe, and affordable place to call home. Learn more about the campaign at www.TheWizardofOz.com/Habitat.
Each Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity home is sold to a hardworking, low-income family that must put in hundreds of hours of sweat equity, complete homeowner training courses and pay Habitat’s unique 0% interest mortgage so more homes can be built. Thanks to generous volunteers and financial partners, more than 1,000 families have been able to purchase Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity homes since 1986.
