Background information:This home went through foreclosure and Bank of America donated it to Habitat. It needs extensive repairs which are being completed by Habitat volunteers. A family has not been matched to this home yet. All Habitat homebuyer families are required to put in 300-500 hours of sweat equity, complete homeownership training courses on finances and maintenance and pay Habitat’s unique 0% mortgage. The mortgage payments from Habitat homebuyers make it possible for more homes to be built.
