Nokia Lumia 1520 REVIEW

6179A-2

I have been an AT&T customer for over ten years. Our family has phone, cable, and wireless services through them. This is one reason why I was very excited when I had the opportunity to help review many of their items. The Nokia 1520 was the first phone I was given. Even though, this is not a phone for me, it may be for someone else.
There are many great features that the Nokia 1520 has. It has a large 6” screen which is a great fit for entertainment and productivity. It was like carrying a phone and a tablet wrapped all in one. With built-in Microsoft Office, which can help you view and edit your Word, Excel®, and PowerPoint® files on the move this phone is great for work in or out of the office.  The 3400 mAh battery combined with the wireless charging shell provided a long battery life. In a nutshell, a great phone.
What I didn’t like about the phone was that it had numerous additional features that weren’t useful and had to be paid for. My 6 year old, was angry because Candy Crush was not a free app. We are addicted to the game! The camera is a 20MP with ZEISS optics, optical image stabilization, and dual LED flash.  It did work well most of the time, but some of my pictures didn’t come out as well as I had hoped for. I was lucky enough to get some really good memories with the phone though.
The Nokia Lumia 1520, had good reception, the sound was clear and loud (if it was needed), and we were able to watch videos and movies on the huge screen which comes in really handy when you have a crabby or bored 6 year old! AT&T’s service is great. I never lost a call or reception at anytime! Always a plus when thinking about purchasing a phone….
