Since its release in 1986, sci-fi adventure film Back to the Future II has become a cult classic. The film has slipped back into public view following a viral marketing campaign that brings to life one the films most revered aspects – the hoverboard.
A group calling themselves HUVrTech produced a video showing a real-life hoverboard from the film. The video even has Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown from the movies) and pro-skater Tony Hawk endorsing the product. Before your heart starts skipping beats, the campaign is a hoax. And a great one at that. Could this be a hint to a possible Back to the Future 4? Let the speculations begin!
