Social Media Use Governed By Women

Have you ever wondered why most brands have their crosshairs targeted on women? Or that most advertisements appeal to the female population? Not to mention the fact that this is true for all forms of media – television, radio commercials and lately, even social media.
The reason behind all these is because women are easier to reach because of their “presence.” It has been revealed that during peak hours, where most of the Earth’s population can be found online on Facebook, majority of the users are women. Plus, women tend to make more frequent status updates on Twitter and Instagram compared to men. This explains why most brands have their eyes set on women and their online marketing campaigns are directed toward them.
