Grisbi

I do not know if you have ever heard of Grisbi but these are my utmost favourite biscuits. First of all, I must point out that have a huge range. I used to think they did just Chocolate Grisbi but then I found out they have a huge range and not just the three (Amarena, Limone e Ginseng and Chocolate) in my picture. That is just to entice you or perhaps warn you before you fall into the wonderful world of Grisbi.

Let me start by describing the Chocolate Grisbi as that is how I got to know them. It is a perfect chocolate flavoured biscuit with just the right amount of snap and nearly no crumbling. Then when you bite in, it has a lovely gooey centre that tastes just like Nutella. The combination is devine. When I was given my first box, they were a gift that had come all the way from Sicily. It made them hard to come by and treasured all the more. So can you imagine my delight when I walked into TKMaxx and found boxes of Grisbi. Then I realised that not only did they have my wonderful Classic Chocolate Grisbi, they had a whole selection of them including (but not limited to) :-

• Lemon Cream
• Cappuccino
• Café
• Hazelnut
• Cherry
• Orange & Lime
• Lemon & Ginseng

I was in heaven. The problem with TKMaxx is just because they have them today, does not mean they will have them tomorrow. Well a quick search and I found you can buy them on Amazon and can even have them set up as a standing order, which I highly recommend. The best bit of all, is that they are cheaper at Amazon than at TKMaxx and always available and costing no more than regular biscuits or cookies!

So, now please excuse me whilst I go set up my standing order for my indulgences!
